Slow Days

Reading Notes

Reading is the hobby I have kept the longest.

In a world of fragments, sitting quietly with a book is the best way to let things settle. Reading widens what I can see, steadies my mood, and quietly gathers understanding; it gives me calm and strength in words.

Calm and strength, found in words.

I read in the gaps of the day — essays, humanities, books about growing — settling slowly, growing slowly, letting the inside of my life become more spacious.
